Charming Tote
Monday, February 13 1pm-4pm
Beginner Instructor: Nancy Powell Class Fee: $20
This fun and easy tote can be used as a market bag, project bag, or “almost anything bag”. It’s attractive, sturdy, and versatile. We’ll make it using charm squares! Or if you wish, you can select your fabric and cut your own 5” squares. You’ll get a feel for machine quilting and it’s easy to put together. Pick up your supply list.

Which fronts to use for your special project, whether it is for something extra small or extra large. The fonts on your computer can be used and add designs to make your project special.

Are you confused about zippers? Need some help? Learn to install a centered zipper, a lapped zipper and my favorite an invisible zipper. You will be surprised how easy putting in a zipper can be!

Shirley and Bettie have combined their efforts to bring fun and creativity to embroidery with project classes using Anita Goodesign embroidery collections.
Each month you will be able to purchase your design pack at a substantial discount, pick up a supply list and choose from an evening, day class or both to complete the project.
February will begin with “Napkin Corners”. Learn hooping and placement techniques that will enable you to position the ideal design on napkins. Special stabilizing techniques will be taught also.
Each of the Anita Goodesign Collections are inspired by current industry trends and complement you or any room in your home.
Multi-Needle Embroidery Tips and Techniques

Owners of a 6-Needle or a 10-Needle Machine

Have questions on using your hat hoop? Get tips and ideas from this class. Learn to use foam on hats, what stabilizers to use, and how to use the hat hoop with success. She will also be showing how to use the Magna-Hoop for your special projects. She will also have several samples of Embroidery done on both the 6-needle and the 10-needle. Learn how to make the most of your machine! Paper & pencil is all you will need.
Quilted Duffle Bag
Friday, February 17 10am-1pm Class Fee: $30
Beginner Instructor: Gayla Jones
Travel in style with this trendy overnight bag. The roomy, zip-top duffle is easy to sew using reversible quilted fabrics. Or make and design your own quilted fabric prior to class. Be sure to pick up your supply list prior to class. Stop by and pick up your supply list.
Sewing for Charity Workshop Planning Session

Gayla needs volunteers to help and inspire her to create and develop ABC sewing - “All Brands Charity” sewing. She has a few ideas and suggestions from her sewing friends and would love to coordinate with others who have a passion for charity sewing as an ongoing workshop here at the store.

Class Policy
Class registration is on a first come, first serve basis. You will only be notified if a class is cancelled.
You may register by phone or in the store. Upon paying for your class, ask for your supply list. All classes must be paid in full at least two weeks before class date. Students will receive a full refund for cancellations up to one week before class date—store credit after that and absolutely no refunds within 24 hours of class.
Classes that are cancelled due to low enrollment will be rescheduled if possible or refunded. Students receive a 15% discount on all purchases for class.
